a gamer's wife
video games are cool, always has been, always will be. it's amazing at how much stuff you can put in a game from graphics to color. video games have evolved & it's pretty damn cool.
now my husband loves video games. he's loved games for a very long time. for as long as i've known him, he enjoys playing games. not only that, he enjoys collecting them. from the old to the new, it doesn't matter. a game is a game.
now sometimes i think that this whole game collecting thing can get out of control. there are times when he wants to buy a game, & i plead with him not to because there are other more important things to buy other then a game. it's ends up being a no-win situation for me because he gets what he wants & i end up feeling like an idiot.
it's not like he spends hours upon hours a day playing games. i mean, the man works his ass off to earn the money to buy his games. at least games don't completely consume his life. there are other things he likes to do like spend time with his wife. :)
we have a lot of the game systems(the PS3 & the Wii are not the ones we have)so there are a lot of options, but my husband can be picky about what game he wants to get for which system we have. when that happens, the only thing i can do is roll my eyes. it can get boring when he starts browsing & doesn't find anything.
i enjoy games as much as he does(i prefer games with things that are cute like cute animals), but i have other things that i want to do like go on the computer & do stuff like this. i have a life too.
peace, everyone.

a cowboys fan's look at yesterday's game. :(
it was embarrassing, to say the least. as i'm watching the game against the eagles, i can feel my blood boiling. i'm thinking to myself, "what the hell is going on? this is just wrong." the cowboys were playing terribly, & i kept hoping that this was just of a case of the 'boys just getting off to a slow start. they had rebounded before in the 2nd half & won. then the guys at fox had to do this. they had to show jessica simpson at the game. i couldn't believe it. here she was at a football game wearing a pink tony romo jersey, shaking her boobs, showing off the jersey. i was so disgusted. that fucking bitch knew she was on camera & wanted to let everyone know that she was there. then later on in the game, they showed her again, this time she looked really bored & looked ready to leave at any minute because of her boredom. during all this, i felt like jumping through my TV screen, grabbing this bitch by the throat, & punching her in the face multiple times. i was so mad. seeing romo on the sidelines made me feel so bad for him. he looked like he needed a hug, & i felt like being the one to give him that hug.
do i think jessica simpson is the reason the cowboys lost? a lot of fans are saying yes. i would say she had something to do with it. i mean, how can romo concentrate when this bitch is there? it's got to be distracting. i know that other members of the team didn't step up & do their part & for that they should be ashamed of themselves. you got to give it your all every single fucking time!
well, at least i can take comfort in the fact that the cowboys will learn from this & beat carolina on saturday & then washington after that.
peace.
